We had the pleasure of recently staying at this property and had a wonderful stay. The house is extremely clean with everything you can think of at your disposal. The pool was also very clean and very warm. The check-in and check- out process was seemless. The communication with the owners was excellent. The community it is located in was extremely nice and away. Manasota Key beaches are located less than a 20 minute drive away. I would 100% recommend this rental to friends and family and would love to stay again in the future.

Thanks for the wonderful place to stay.  It fitted our needs beautifully.  We especially appreciated the setting with the canal and large natural area behind the house.  It was quite and private, and could all be enjoyed sitting next to the pool in the lanai.  
We throughly enjoyed the beautiful beaches and sunsets at Stump Pass Beach State Park and Gasparilla Island which are relatively nearby.  
The house is laid out nicely with the master bedroom at one end and the other bedrooms at the other end.  We enjoying playing board games in the family room, cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen, and reading books from the extensive collection on the book shelves.

“We had a wonderful stay at the villa!
The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped with anything you could possibly need for your stay...just bring your clothes and food (plenty of cooking items, also). During this time of the pandemic, it was reassuring to us that all areas of the home were very clean. The layout of the home worked very well for our family, and we liked that there are several entrances to the spacious outdoor seating area and solar heated pool, which we used constantly during our stay. Beautiful beaches are within a 15 minute drive, so it is a great value and more privacy than some of the busier tourist areas. We loved the safe, friendly, and overall quiet neighborhood and appreciated the convenience of stores nearby like Publix and Walmart. We enjoyed relaxing outside with a nice view over the pool to the small pond and natural area the home overlooks, adding to its appeal.
Our host, Jolanda, was very kind, helpful, and responsive, and the local property manager was readily available and helpful. (Thank you!)

We had a great stay and the heated pool and spa were a huge hit with our kids. The house was clean and comfortable. The closest stores/restaurants are about 10 minutes away. The neighborhood the house is located in is very quiet and was a great place for a family vacation.

Once again I thank you for the wonderful experience of renting from you in Rotonda. The house was very nice and we especially loved the location on the canal. I enjoyed watching all of the different birds, and turtles and alligators that came to visit. Took some terrific photos! This place is very peaceful and quiet. The pool was set at the perfect temperature and Tiffany the pool cleaner was wonderful. Justine did a fantastic job making sure that all was perfect for us. We really did appreciate her response to the BBQ.

Hello Kees & Jolanda
We just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our whole experience in arranging with you the rental of Villa B in the Port Charlotte area of Florida. The extensive information you provided and your prompt replies to all my questions gave us great comfort that we would get what you were advertising.
The house and property was even more than we expected. The place was modern and beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. It had everything we could have wanted. We were there with the four of us for 18 days, and there were many days when we would get up in the morning and decide to just stay at the house and relax around the pool and hot-tub. No desire to go anywhere else.
My brother-in-law enjoyed casting a fishing line in the canal behind the house, even though he didn’t catch much. We went for walks and bike rides around the neighbourhood, which is so quiet and felt so secure. Everything we needed from the store was only a few minutes drive.
Hoping that when we want to go to the gulf coast of Florida again, we can rent Villa B or one of your other properties.

We rented villa D in April 2018. This is a wonderful location for a family vacation!
The house is very well maintained and clean. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is very well eqiupped. You have a great view on the lake from pool side area and can enjoy beautiful Florida sunsets! We hope to have a chance to come again.

Villa B: April 2015
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We enjoyed ourselves there so much the first time that we were happy to return again this year. Firstly, the furniture was so comfortable and the villa is beautifully furnished and decorated and well taken care of.  Everything we needed was available, right down to plenty of beach towels, kitchen gadgets, pool toys!! The outdoor patio furniture was fantastic. Lots of room for tanning. The property manager does a fantastic job of ensuring that all was in perfect order for our arrival. (Again, Hats Off to Brenda) Very clean, the nice sized pool was heated up to the perfect temperature, and the BBQ tank was full of propane for
our many BBQs that we enjoyed by the pool. The location is excellent, close to shopping, nice little drive to the beach, wonderful restaurantsand shopping within a few minutes drive. We have been visiting the Rotonda area for over 10 years and this home has been our favorite for so many reasons. Not only was the home comfortable and welcoming, the views from the pool are absolutely gorgeous! The little lake in the rear of the property affords amazing views, wading birds such as Great Egrets, Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes and Anhingas (Snake Bird) as well as plenty of cardinals and a pileated woodpecker in the little tree by the lake. I am a bit of a bird lover so heaven for me. Also baby
alligators were very cute to watch swimming up and down the lake. All this, topped off each night by a beautiful sunset over the palm trees and the golf course. The only problem we had was having to pack up and leave after 3 weeks!
We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who appreciates comfort, convenience, nature and beauty! Cheryl and Dale from Ontario Canada.

Hallo Jolanda en Kees, It was raining on our arrival day and in the night it was raining so hard, the raindrops drumming on the roof, that we had to use ear-plugs to get some sleep. Next morning, while the streets were drying, we spent some time shopping in Ellenton Mall. Meanwhile the frogs in the creek outside probably went out, too, and when they came back late in the night, they brought some friends and they had a big party, entertaining us with a frog chorus. We had some wine – thanks again J - and enjoyed the evening sitting at the pool, watching sunset. Once again we had a wonderful vacation and the days after our arrival the weather report repeated itself: sunny, sunny, sunny. It will be very hard to return to reality! We really like your villa and the alterations you have made, make it even more special and in German we would say “gemütlich”. We had a great time.

Dear Jolanda and Kees. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We really enjoyed the pool, and couldn't keep the kids out of it. My twin girls both learned to swim here! Of course we did plenty of shopping and collected lots of shark teeth at Boca Grande beach. We were also lucky enough to see manatees, dolphins, eagles, wild boar in the wild in our travels. We would really love to come back again soon. Thanks again.

Dear Jolanda, dear Kees.

We had a great time in Florida although it was cold and windy. Your villa is awesome and we enjoyed it very much. It looks like you put a really personal note to the house with all bits and pieces here and there. We felt indeed at home. There is nothing to add or change, except the weather. We expected it to be very warm but like in Germany it was unusual cold. Never the less we feel very relaxed and have been to all the great beaches around. We love the place Rotonda since it is so quiet and laid back. We saw a lot of squirrels, birds and alligators. And the view sitting on the lanai early in the morning: fantastic! Again both of you Thank you very much for your patience and answering the thousands of questions always prompt. We definitely recommend your villa to all our friends.

Hello Jolanda and Kees,

Once again, when the leaves begin to fall and the weather in Germany begins to get really nasty (the rainy November season) we left for a vacation in Florida. Of course we did some shopping, but most of all we just enjoyed just sitting at the pool, reading a book. We have been to the cinemas in Port Charlotte and naturally we spend much time watching the dolphins and collecting shark teeth at the beach. We had a great time.

Thank your very much for the 2 weeks in your villa! We really enjoyed it very very much. Everything was so easy and well-prepared, it’s really a wonderful home for winter time! Everything was fine in the house, bathrooms, towels, plates and everything to cook. On thanksgiving we made a turkey and we had a wonderful turkey dinner at the pool, every breakfast and dinner we had at the pool!

We had a lovely time once down at Port Charlotte! Orlando didn’t have very nice weather and to be honest we don’t really like it there much anymore, too busy and commercialised but we do it for the kids!!!  We absolutely love the gulf coast though and will probably go straight there next year. Well what can we say about your beautiful villa! It was fantastic! Everything was perfect. The pool and view was gorgeous, the space inside the villa was great. The nosey big birds that come up to the screen and watch the children playing was funny, the peace and quiet was lovely, and also loved the bikes. Andy made use of the golf clubs and played a couple of times with our youngest daughter who is becoming a bit of a good golfer! (aged 7). Thank you so much it all definitely made our holiday.

We had a brilliant time in your villa, it was very comfortable clean and homely. It had everything we needed and if we hadn’t got it then Pete and Liz Moull sorted it out for us ie pool toys. Excellent value for money and we hope to return there some day.
